I will never again stay in a job that toxic, although it did make for some great stories.
Almost forgot: Another manager, who we’ll call Paul, was secretly dating the 17-year-old hostess.

She had gotten married a week prior and was out of the office.
I was like, ‘Yo, what the hell was that?’
He said, ‘What?
I’m just joking, she’s laughing!’
She told me it was fine, but it wasn’t.
“Look, I have a sense of humor.
I probably say a lot I shouldn’t.
And I watch a lot of crude humor, too.
But this was just weird.
And I have no idea what he meant by it.

He would grope the boys' butts or smack them.
He never got fired.
He actually became a teacher who is now in prison for child molestation.”
